The tank is designed with two halves, allowing for ease of transportation and installation. The water conserved in the GRAF underground rain water tanks can be used to save water in your home for your toilet and laundry and on your gardens.
Underground Rainwater Tanks - GRAF
The GRAF underground water tanks are designed to save your valuable space in your backyard or around your home for you.
The specially designed rain water harvesting system allows your water tank to be placed under the ground. Rain water flows through your downpipes and a filtering system to your underground rainwater storage tank.
An electric pump allows you to use the rain water you have conserved in and around your home. This pump can either be placed above ground, or fixed in the tank.
Keeping your rainwater storage tank underground is not only visually appealing, but it also keeps your water at a cool temperature, virtually eliminating the possibility of algal growth.
The underground tank range by GRAF is manufactured with Duralen, a high quality tough material. The consistent product has been design with strength and stability in mind featuring a two-pieced ribbed design, equal wall thickness throughout and a unique H profile.
The shaft of the tank is adjustable, allowing the lid to sit flush with the ground reducing the ability for friends and family to even know it's there.
The underground rain water tanks come in four different sizes ranging in capacity from 2700L to 6500L. The capacity can be easily increased up to 13000L with the addition of another tank, which can be done at the time of installation, or when your water needs increase at a later stage.
Your underground tank can be installed in groundwater up to the middle of your tank, and it can even be installed underneath your driveway!
Water harvested into the underground tank can be used on your garden and throughout your home in the laundry and toilet depending on the filtration system you decide to use.
