Above Ground

Overview of connecting an above ground water tank

• Select a smooth, firm, level surface - paving, concrete or level sand
• Place near downpipe and away from trees and direct sunlight
• Clean the roof, gutters and downpipes
• The downpipe from the gutter must be on a gradual (3% or greater) slope to the inlet
• Connect additional piping to the overflow to direct excess water away from the water tank or alternatively install the inlet pipe so that it can shut-off when the tank is full.
